Overview:

InvestCloud is looking for high-performing Java engineers to join our product team in Bangalore. This position is for self-starters who are motivated to play a crucial role in the delivery of innovative financial products by designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications and systems.

This engineering role is an exciting opportunity that has great career growth potential in a growing and fast-paced culture technology firm that provides solutions to the financial services sector, specifically covering the full spectrum of Wealth and Asset Management businesses.

Candidates will work in the InvestCloud office four days per week and work one day remote.

Responsibilities:

Build, modify, review and analyze software systems through code development, testing, debugging and documentation.

Perform product design, systems analysis and programming activities.

Preparing technical documentation.

¢ Conducting unit & integration testing.

¢ Work with peers to conduct code reviews across the team and help foster a productive work environment.

¢ Find ways to make software components more consistent, easily supported and more highly performing.

Qualifications:

¢ Bachelors degree in in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant subject from an accredited University.

¢ 3-8 years of relevant experience programming in Java.

¢ Application development experience with Java 1.8 and RESTful Web Services.

¢ Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Java frameworks available such as Spring MVC.

¢ Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

¢ Understanding of Agile methodologies

¢ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / SVN.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

¢ Experience in XML generation and parsing, shell scripting.

¢ Experience in the financial services industry.

¢ Experience delivering projects using JIRA for planning and reporting.
