Role & responsibilities

  • Supervise structural work including wall and slab casting using Mivan /aluminium formwork systems
  • Ensure proper installation of formwork panels, alignment, and surface preparation
  • Check reinforcement and embedded items as per drawings before pour
  • Maintain cycle time of formwork as per project schedule
  • Oversee plastering (if applicable), tiling, painting, waterproofing, and flooring
  • Monitor internal and external finishing progress and quality
  • Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and approvals of finishing works
  • Ensure smooth transition between structure and finishing phases
  • Liaise with MEP teams (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting) to ensure proper sleeve, conduit, and pipe placement before RCC pour
  • Ensure MEP clearances are received before closing shuttering
  • Report any MEP-civil conflicts to engineers for resolution
  • Allocate work to labour and subcontractors as per work plans
  • Monitor productivity and ensure availability of materials and tools
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE compliance
  • Maintain daily logs, checklists, and assist in DPR preparation
