About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can take complete ownership of projects — from understanding the technical depth of the code to building strong client relationships. This role requires a unique blend of Business Analysis and Technical Project Management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Ownership & Delivery
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Oversee project timelines, scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Technical Understanding
  • Review and understand code at a high level to assess feasibility and guide decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure alignment with technical requirements.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear business terms for clients and stakeholders.
  • Client Communication & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Manage requirement-gathering sessions, clarify deliverables, and set expectations.
  • Business Analysis
  • Analyze business requirements and create clear documentation (BRDs, SRS).
  • Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics for each project.
  • Support pre-sales with technical feasibility assessments and estimations.
  • Leadership & Coordination
  • Mentor and guide team members to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the Technical Architect (TA) to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Provide status reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4–6 years in project management, preferably in IT/Software Development.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the MERN Stack (MongoDB, , , ) and front-end technology.
  • Ability to understand and review code to guide technical decisions.
  • Business Analysis Skills: Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and process mapping abilities.
  • Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar).
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in FinTech projects will be highly beneficial.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience as a Technical Architect (TA) before moving into PM role.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
  • Experience with Hitachi projects or similar enterprise-scale solutions.
