Job Purpose

To assist in the preparation, maintenance and smooth functioning of the Operating Theatre (OT). Ensure all equipment, instruments and environment are sterile, ready for surgery. Support the surgical and anaesthesia teams during operations. Maintain safety, infection control, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the OT before surgeries: set up surgical instruments, supplies, drapes, sterilized equipment. Indeed+5Expertia+5Expertia+5

  • Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgery: handing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, helping with equipment adjustments. smart-
  • Assist in patient positioning (on operating table), transport patient to OT, help with pre-operative preparation.

  • Maintain records & documentation: equipment usage, sterilization logs, instrument checklists, procedure reports. Expertia+1
  • Follow safety and regulatory policies, waste disposal (bio-hazardous / biomedical waste), radiation safety (if applicable), etc.

Qualifications & Experience
