We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Azure Data Services to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and enterprise-grade data solutions using modern Azure tools and technologies.

Azure Data Engineer

Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure

Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes from various sources

(on-premises/cloud).

Create and manage Azure resources for data solutions, including storage accounts,

databases, and compute services.

Develop and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views for data transformation and

reporting.

Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met using tools like Azure

Purview, Azure Key Vault, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-

grade data solutions.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues.

Document technical solutions and maintain best practices.

Technical Skills Required:

Azure Data Factory (ADF)  Expertise in building pipelines, triggers, linked services, etc.

Azure Synapse Analytics / SQL Data Warehouse

Azure Databricks / Spark / PySpark

Azure Data Lake (Gen2)

Azure SQL / Cosmos DB / SQL Server

Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and performance tuning

Good understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and data modeling concepts (Star/Snowflake

schema)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

Familiarity with tools like Git, ARM templates, Terraform (optional)

Knowledge of Power BI integration is a plus

Soft Skills & Additional Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to work independently and lead junior team members

Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203) are preferred
