Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Recruitment is responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end hiring process to ensure timely onboarding of high-quality talent across business verticals. This includes developing sourcing strategies, managing recruitment partners, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and supporting employer branding initiatives in alignment with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across levels (primarily mid to senior-level roles) — sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Partner with business heads and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and develop hiring plans accordingly.
  • Prepare and maintain recruitment trackers, dashboards, and reports to monitor hiring progress and turnaround times (TAT).
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels — job portals, social media, internal referrals, LinkedIn, and campus hiring — to ensure a strong talent pipeline.

2. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with recruitment agencies and maintain vendor SLAs.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with external partners to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain strong internal stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on hiring status and market trends.

3. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Promote the NBFC's employer brand through digital channels and career fairs.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the selection process.
  • Support HR marketing initiatives and employee referral campaigns.

4. Recruitment Analytics & Compliance

  • Track recruitment metrics such as cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, and quality-of-hire.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure compliance with internal HR policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support automation and process improvement in recruitment systems (ATS/HRMS).

5. Strategic Initiatives

  • Contribute to workforce planning and talent forecasting in alignment with business growth.
  • Partner with HRBP and L&D teams for succession planning and internal talent movement.
  • Participate in diversity hiring and inclusion initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment and sourcing strategies.
  • Good understanding of NBFC/financial services business functions (Sales, Credit, Operations, Risk, Collections).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or recruitment dashboards.
  • Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and HR tools.

Educational Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field.

Experience Required

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in NBFCs, BFSI, or fintech organizations.
