Job Summary:

The MIS Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of the company's Management Information Systems. This role ensures that the organization's data infrastructure and reporting systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals. The MIS Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and accurate business intelligence to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management & Maintenance:
  • Manage and maintain enterprise databases and information systems.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and upgrading of MIS software and tools.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis:
  • Design and implement reporting systems and dashboards for business performance tracking.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze business trends and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead and manage a team of MIS analysts and IT support staff.
  • Provide training and support to staff on MIS systems and tools.
  • Work closely with departments such as Finance, Operations, HR, and Sales to understand data needs.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage MIS-related projects from conception through deployment.
  • Liaise with vendors and external partners for system enhancements and support.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
  • Develop and enforce MIS policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure systems and processes adhere to data protection regulations and standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in MIS, IT management, or business intelligence roles.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), ERP systems, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven experience in managing teams and projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Certifications (optional):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent
  • Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
