Key Responsibilities:A day in the life of a BI consultant at Infosys involvesEngaging with customers on a regular basis and providing them with the best in class IT consulting services and solutionsCollaborating with client s business users and IT stakeholders defining the to be processes and producing detailed functional and technical design specifications based on requirementsActively working with and aiding the project team in different phases of the project including problem definition planning and roadmap definition fit gap analysis effort estimation solution design and developmentExploring alternatives to the current solutions through research that includes literature surveys working with the internal Infosys Center of Excellence COE groups engaging with alliance partners or product vendors and building proof of concepts POCsConfiguring and building IT systems or software analysis of issues diagnosing the root cause of such issues seeking clarifications and then identify and shortlist solution alternativesIf you think you have the skills to help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey while being part of a strong value driven organization this is the place for youTechnical Requirements:We are looking for candidates having a minimum of 4 years experience in designing developing and implementing reporting solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud OAC OAS or OBIEE with an overall 5 years of IT industry experienceThe candidate must have at least a year of hands on experience with Oracle FAW or FDI and should be good at deriving insights from dataThe candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of data and semantic modeling conceptsThe candidate must possess work experience in either implementing and or supporting large BI systems or solutionsThe candidate should have the ability to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into design specificationsCandidate should also demonstrate strong analytical problem solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members across geographical locationsAdditional Responsibilities:Hands on experience with other reporting tools like BI Publisher OTBI Power BI or Tableau will be of added valueAn ideal candidate would possess knowledge of ETL tools like ODI or InformaticaAwareness of the latest technologies and trends in the field of analyticsWorking experience or familiarity with technologies like Snowflake or Databricks will be a plus but it s not a must for this roleExperience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires travel and or relocation within the countryPreferred Skills:Technology->Business Intelligence - Reporting->Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12c
