Indirect Tax Accounting

This position involves preparing accurate tax returns, developing tax-saving strategies, and ensuring timely payments. The Tax Accountant collaborates with internal teams and external auditors to support audits, minimize risks, and align the organization's financial strategies with tax requirements.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working on Indirect Taxation Taxation matters with the third party tax consultants including filing of tax returns and finalization of Audits, Accounts, Documentation and MIS Reporting for US and international geographies
  • Supervising all US and International tax compliance and submissions US State and Local Sales, VATs & Use Tax and withholding taxes
  • Indirect tax matters include Sales and use tax, commercial rent tax, Franchise tax, etc
  • Coordinate with the internal teams to gather information for the above matters
  • Performs research activities on tax issue and have informed discussion with the tax consultant and advice the internal teams
  • Handling the internal and external audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Proven experience in tax accounting, compliance, and tax return preparation.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
