About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and growth-driven
VP – Brand Partnerships
to lead our business development efforts and drive strategic collaborations with top brands. This is a senior individual contributor role that demands a deep understanding of influencer marketing, a strong network of brand and agency relationships, and proven experience in revenue generation through partnerships.

You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, leading brand conversations, closing high-ticket deals, and helping shape the company's revenue strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation:
    Own and deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets by acquiring new brand partnerships and expanding existing accounts.
  • New Business Development:
    Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with brands, agencies, and media houses across industries such as FMCG, beauty, fashion, gaming, tech, fintech, and more.
  • Consultative Sales:
    Develop strategic proposals and campaign concepts aligned with client marketing goals, leveraging influencer-led storytelling.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with marketing leaders, brand managers, and media heads.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay updated on influencer marketing trends, competitor strategies, and emerging creator platforms to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams — Planning & Strategy, Operations, and Creator Management — to ensure smooth campaign execution post-closure.
  • Leadership Enablement:
    Mentor mid-level sales leaders, set best practices for outreach and pitch strategies, and contribute to organizational growth planning.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
    Explore long-term collaborations, annual retainers, and joint marketing opportunities to enhance brand stickiness and recurring revenue.

Key Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in
    sales, partnerships, or business development
    in the
    influencer marketing / digital media / advertising
    industry.
  • Proven track record of driving multi-crore annual revenues and closing large-scale brand deals.
  • Strong network with key decision-makers across consumer and digital-first brands.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand marketing objectives and translate them into influencer-led campaigns.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in building revenue processes or teams from scratch (preferred).
