About CarbonSync

We enable manufacturing companies to prioritize product-level sustainability throughout every stage of manufacturing: Discovery → ideation → prototype → production.

We do not sell carbon offsets.

Our team is made up of successful startup veterans and climate experts; we're building a category-defining product in an industry that the world desperately needs.

Our ICP

  1. Freelance designers (who cannot afford LCA data, or expensive LCA tools)

  2. Design (& engineering) firms who're shifting to sustainable products (using DIY tools)

  3. Large manufacturing companies (need modern, cloud-based LCA tools)

Who we're looking for

Carbon Sync is seeking an experienced FullStack Engineer who thrives in ambiguity, leans into curiosity, and is experimental by nature. You'll partner with our founding team to create the next generation of decarbonization tools for consumer product companies and design firms to manufacture low carbon products.

Scale the foundations:
As our product evolves, we want to ensure that our system is reliable, scalable and is easy to operate. You'll champion these efforts by applying best practices, ensuring proper test coverage and monitoring, and constantly pushing for operational excellence

How you'd qualify

  • Deeply concerned about the impact of climate change on our future, but even MORE motivated to do something about it

  • 1-2 years experience as a full-stack engineer

  • Proficiency in React and Python

  • Excellent communication skills (show, don't tell us)

  • Proven record of shipping features on time, in an agile environment

  • Very comfortable with product experimentation, and building things that don't scale (initially)

  • Thrive in chaos and ambiguity

Bonus if you've

  • made shit happen - you know when it's time to do things the right way, and when it's time to hack like a champ

  • Worked with ML / AI applications

  • B2B SaaS experience

  • deep understanding of UX design / Product management

  • Previous startup (and founder) experience a HUGE plus
