Job description: MBD Integration Engineer
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore. 
EmploymentType: FullTime

About The Gig:

As an MBD Integration Engineer, you will work closely with the MBD and the firmware teams to streamline algorithm integration workflows. You will own the process of taking auto‑generated code from Simulink and ensuring seamless integration into our embedded platform. Your focus will be on SW build processes, interface definitions, code optimization, testability and scalability.

What You'll Do:

·    Collaborate with control algorithm developers to understand models, data interfaces and generated code.·       Develop and maintain workflows for integrating auto‑generated code with the embedded firmware stack (C/C++)·       Ensure compliance with coding guidelines (e.g., MISRA C, AUTOSAR, etc.).·       Optimize and refactor generated code for memory and runtime efficiency.·       Set up automated build/test pipelines (e.g., GitHub/GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) for model‑to‑firmware integration.·       Debug and troubleshoot integration issues on target hardware.·       Collaborate with firmware team on interfacing CAN drivers for UDS, J1939 protocolsDocument integration processes and provide inputs for best integration practices.

What You Bring:

·       Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.· –3 years of experience in embedded software development or model‑based development.·       Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with embedded toolchains (ARM, TI, NXP, etc.).·       Working proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder (or similar).·       Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures, interrupts, and real‑time constraints.·       Exposure to version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.·       Familiarity with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C or similar communication protocols.·       Good debugging skills with oscilloscopes, debuggers, or HIL setups.·       Knowledge of motors, batteries and vehicle dynamics is an advantage.·       Strong working knowledge of higher level mathematics is an advantage.
