Position Title: Security Guard

Location: Construction Site

Employment Type: Full-Time (24×7 Rotational Shifts)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, vigilant, and physically fit Security Guard to provide 24/7 security coverage at an active construction site. The Security Guard will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, equipment, materials, and property, while ensuring adherence to safety and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities Site Protection & Access Control

  • Monitor and control entry/exit of workers, contractors, vehicles, and visitors.
  • Maintain an accurate log of all site entries, deliveries, and movements.
  • Ensure only authorized personnel access restricted areas.

Patrolling & Surveillance

  • Conduct routine foot patrols across the site, including perimeter and high-risk zones.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and security systems (if applicable).
  • Identify and report potential hazards, suspicious activities, or security breaches.

Safety & Incident Management

  • Respond promptly to emergencies such as accidents, intrusions, fire alarms, or equipment theft.
  • Document and report incidents immediately to the Site Supervisor/Management.
  • Provide support during evacuation, emergency response, or safety drills.

Asset Protection

  • Safeguard construction materials, tools, machinery, and equipment from theft, vandalism, and unauthorized use.
  • Verify delivery notes and ensure materials are stored securely..

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Security Guard, preferably on a construction or industrial site.
  • Valid Security Guard License/Certification (as per local regulations).
  • Ability to work 24×7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Physically fit to conduct prolonged patrolling and respond to emergencies.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
