Technical Must-Have Skills:

  1. Java Development: Proven working experience in Java.
  2. Java EE / JEE: Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
  3. Object-Oriented Design & Patterns: Strong understanding of OOP concepts and common design patterns.
  4. Spring Framework: Experience in Spring (Spring MVC/Spring Boot).
  5. Hibernate / JPA: ORM technologies and relational database knowledge (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  6. REST APIs: Ability to develop and consume RESTful web services.
  7. Version Control: Experience with Git or similar tools.

Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Cloud exposure (AWS or Azure)
  • Web frameworks like JSF, Wicket, or GWT
  • Test-driven development (TDD)
  • Understanding of Java internals (class loading, memory management, transaction management)
