Job Title : Android Middleware Architect Experience : 12 to 18 YearsLocation : PuneWe are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect

  • Middleware Services with a strong background in Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS).

The ideal candidate will have expertise in AAOS framework, middleware development, system architecture, and service implementation using C++, Java, and NDK. This role requires a deep understanding of Android native services, configurations, and build systems to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities :

  • Architect and design middleware services for Android-based automotive solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Develop and enhance AAOS framework components to meet business and functional requirements.
  • Design and implement native services using C++, Java, and NDK while ensuring compliance with Android development best practices.
  • Analyze and optimize Android build system for better efficiency, performance, and maintainability.
  • Work on Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) and Vendor Test Suite (VTS) to validate the functionality and compliance of middleware services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and cloud architects, to ensure seamless integration of middleware services.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them on best practices and architectural decisions.
  • Ensure security and reliability of middleware services by implementing best practices in coding, debugging, and testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in AAOS, Android architecture, and middleware technologies to drive continuous Skills :
  • Expertise in Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS) Framework.
  • Strong proficiency in C++, Java, and NDK for service development.
  • Thorough understanding of AAOS native services and system configurations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Android Build System, CTS, and Skills :
  • Experience in designing scalable and modular system architectures.
  • Strong understanding of inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms in Android.
  • Experience in middleware component integration with cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience in performance optimization and debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in Android middleware development.
