Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, integrity, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval for analytical workloads.
  • Implement data processing frameworks using distributed computing technologies.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong experience in
    Big Data technologies
    such as
    Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, HBase
    .
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    and
    data modeling
    concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Python
    or
    Scala
    for data processing.
  • Knowledge of
    cloud data platforms
    like
    AWS (Glue, EMR, Redshift)
    ,
    Azure (Data Lake, Databricks)
    , or
    GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    ,
    Git
    , and
    containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
    is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
