We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core and Web API development to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications and APIs that power our platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient software solutions that meet business objectives.

Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Web APIs using .NET Core and .NET 8.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Lead code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications in development and production environments.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advocate for their appropriate use.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven experience with .NET Core (3.1 and above), .NET 8 , Web API development and third party API integration.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
  • Experience with Razor View Pages.
  • Experience with JavaScript,Jquery,XML,JSON and Bootstrap.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns (e.g., Repository, Dependency Injection, etc.), and SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for learning and continuous improvement
