Job Title: OSS Engineer - Support

Job Summary - We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse and industrial automation equipment. The shortlisted candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of automated systems, minimizing downtime, and optimizing equipment performance to support warehouse operations effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on warehouse and industrial automation equipment (sorter, conveyor, weighing machine, PTL, ASRS, chute etc,) according to established schedules and procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and calibration of machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts, to restore equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure spare parts and components for equipment repairs and upgrades.
• Install and commission new equipment or upgrades, ensuring proper integration with existing systems and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities / breakdowns, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
• Maintain the spare inventory / regional spare depot and also perform treatment of faulty components / materials.
• Document equipment modifications, upgrades, and repairs for future reference and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Generate maintenance reports and performance metrics to track equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance costs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections of equipment to identify hazards and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
• Provide training and guidance to Customers warehouse staff on the proper operation and maintenance of automation equipment.
• Participate in process and technical trainings to enhance skillset.

Education Qualification: Diploma / BTECH - Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required:

• 2-5 years of Proven experience in maintenance and repair of warehouse and industrial automation equipment, such as conveyor systems, robotic arms, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and palletizers.
• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting electromechanical systems, PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles, and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in diagnosing equipment issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
