Job Description:

We are seeking a talented
Design Consultant
who combines an eye for design with a strong sales mindset. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a deep understanding of customer preferences. As a Design Consultant at Florzy, you will work closely with customers to craft bespoke floral arrangements and provide personalized design advice, while also driving sales and growing the business.

In this hybrid role, you will leverage your design expertise to create stunning floral displays while actively participating in the sales process to meet individual and team sales goals. You'll be a key player in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to Florzy's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
Design Responsibilities:

• Design Floral Arrangements:
  Create innovative and on-trend floral designs for individual clients, events, and corporate accounts.
• Customization:
  Offer tailored design recommendations based on customer preferences, occasion type, and budget.
• Trends & Inspiration:
  Stay current with floral design trends, seasonal flowers, and design techniques to ensure Florzy remains a market leader.
• Display Setup:
  Assist with in-store floral arrangements, ensuring they reflect the brand's aesthetic and create an inviting atmosphere.

Sales Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation:
  Meet with customers to understand their needs and provide them with personalized design solutions.
• Sales Targets:
  Achieve sales goals and contribute to team sales targets through effective upselling, cross-selling, and relationship-building.
• Product Knowledge:
  Be an expert on Florzy's products, services, and design options to provide knowledgeable recommendations and enhance the customer experience.
• Order Processing:
  Manage customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate fulfillment of all floral arrangements and design requests.

Customer Service:

• Customer Engagement:
  Build lasting relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and follow-ups.
• Problem-Solving:
  Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience:
• Proven experience in floral design, event styling, or interior design.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role is required, preferably in the design, retail, or floral industry.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Strong design and creative skills, with a keen eye for color, balance, and proportion.
• Ability to engage with customers and sell design services effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a wide range of customers.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and customer requests simultaneously.
• Education:
• Degree or certification in floral design, interior design, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
• A passion for creativity, design, and sales-driven outcomes.
• Additional Qualities:
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with industry tools and technology, such as POS systems, design software, or CRM platforms is a plus.
