Role & responsibilities

  • Establish accounting procedures at site as per companys norms.
  • Responsible for bookkeeping, costing, cash flow management and budgetary

controls of the project and to report the financial performance of the branch to the

HOD.

  • Timely preparation of MIS report like profit and loss account, cost statements, year

ending reports, funding reports.

  • Ensure adherence to Direct and Indirect Income Tax law and ensure compliance on

Registration, Filing of Sales Tax and E-TDS Returns and deposit/payment of tax

liabilities.

  • Attending Statutory Audits and finalize the site Trial balances. Closing of site

accounts on quarterly basis

  • Prepare compliance reports on Internal Audit observations and forward to Head

Office

  • Verification and Adjustment of bills submitted by various departments and

subordinates, checking the accuracy of accounting entries ensuring compliance with

Accounting standards

  • Provide timely inputs to the Project Operations and Planning Department for

preparation of overall project budget

  • Preparation of statement of dues and issue of cheques for payment.
  • Periodical accurate accounting, book keeping and preparation of financial

statements

  • Analyze the monthly financial requirements and availability of Funds and forward

to H.O. in form of Fund Indents

  • Generate cost MIS
