HVAC Supervisor

1. Installation

• Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (split units, ducted units, chillers, etc.).
• Mount and connect compressors, condensers, evaporators, ductwork, and refrigerant lines.
• Ensure proper electrical and control wiring connections.
• Test and commission new systems to verify correct operation.

2. Maintenance

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Clean filters, coils, condensers, and ducts to maintain efficiency.
• Check refrigerant levels and recharge when necessary.
• Lubricate moving parts to reduce wear and tear.

3. Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose problems in HVAC systems, including mechanical faults, refrigerant leaks, and electrical issues.
• Replace defective parts such as motors, belts, thermostats, sensors, and control boards.
• Repair or replace ductwork and insulation.
• Calibrate thermostats and control systems.

4. System Testing & Performance Checks

• Measure and adjust airflow, temperature, and humidity.
• Use gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools to monitor system performance.
• Ensure systems operate according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Follow local building codes, electrical regulations, and environmental laws (especially related to refrigerants).
• Handle refrigerants safely, complying with environmental protection standards.
• Ensure safe working practices when using ladders, power tools, and electrical equipment.
