Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage all activities related to Direct and Indirect Taxation, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and file GST Returns within stipulated timelines.
  • Perform complete TDS calculations, deductions, and filing of TDS returns.
  • Draft responses and provide required documentation for GST and Income Tax notices.
  • Pass accurate GST and TDS-related accounting entries in the books of accounts.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Team for customer reconciliation activities and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Purchase Team for vendor reconciliation and ensure timely closure of issues.
  • Support auditors during statutory and tax audits by providing relevant data and clarifications.
  • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and compliance records for internal and external audits.

Essential Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to work with financial data.
  • Excellent understanding of Accounting, Taxation, TDS, GST, Transfer Pricing, and end-to-end compliance processes.
  • Experience in handling statutory and tax audits, and addressing auditor queries.
  • Proficiency in Tally and familiarity with accounting systems.
  • Strong team-handling capability with the ability to manage expectations and coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
