Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Hadoop Admin to join our team at our Bengaluru location. This on-site role involves managing and maintaining Hadoop clusters, ensuring optimal performance, and addressing technical challenges. Responsibilities include overseeing data workflows, optimizing the Hadoop ecosystem, performing necessary troubleshooting, and supporting Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the management of data warehousing solutions and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Hadoop Administration and hands-on experience managing Hadoop clusters
  • Strong knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop ecosystems
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize system performance
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Bengaluru
  • Previous experience in handling large-scale data environments is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
