Job Summary:
The Algorithm Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS, active safety, and AD vehicle systems. This will include design, development, and testing of feature/function algorithms, behaviour, trajectory planning, assessment & vehicle control algorithms.
Your Role:
- Design, simulate, implement, and test ADAS algorithms using MATLAB-Simulink and/or C++.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to support the creation and break-down of requirements and test cases.
- Develop technical specifications and DFMEAs.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure proper feature functionality.
- Proactively identify and contribute to changes that help the product progress along its roadmap.
- Analyse defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by root causing the issues and designing algorithm improvements.
- Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issues.
- Complete assigned individual and team tasks.
- Follow defined software development and documentation procedures.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related technical field.
- Experience with State Estimation and advanced filtering methods.
- 3+ years of programming experience in development and testing of algorithms in: C++
- Strong background in control theory & systems design
- Excellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in EEE ,Instrumentation ,ECE Engineering, Computer Science, related technical
- 2+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) – C++.
- Superior communication & presentation skills
- Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion
