Major Roles & Responsibilities

To manage the end-to-end GIS project component.

To act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for all activity and coordinate with Project Manager of allotted in Consultation with Monitoring Team.

Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and coordinating the GIS Requirement.

Allocation of tasks for the team to lead the management of GIS development components of project and coordinate with other stakeholders.

Supervise, guide, train and support and be responsible for the outputs and performance of the GIS activities / team.

Review the quality of GIS project deliverables to ensure compliance with the agreed quality measures and standards.

Lead the team during project review meeting with reference to GIS component of the project, present the status or progress made based on the prescribed timeline made by project director.

Mentor the team if any technical or functional challenges are faced during the project implementation and support phase.

Proven experience in managing / developing geospatial solutions using ESRI suite of products (including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Mobile, ArcGIS Portal, Geoportal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Desktop, JavaScript API, 3D GIS applications) and open-source GIS Applications (including but not limited to Geo server, Leaflet, Map Server etc.).

Lead the team for successful deployment of the system in cloud-based infrastructure, establish communication channel between team for successful deployment and running of the system.

Experience & Certifications

Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience in the field of Team leading project management for GIS SDLC projects.

Project Management Certification (PMP) required.

Government Project Experience is required.

Educational Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Science / MSc
