About the Role

ZestNexus is looking for a part-time DevOps Engineer to streamline deployments and manage infrastructure on custom Linux-based systems (E2E cloud). We are preparing to onboard large customers, which means our systems must handle high daily traffic with maximum uptime.

Our stack includes , Python, MongoDB, and MySQL. We need someone experienced in managing bare-metal or Linux cloud environments without relying on AWS/GCP services.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for and Python services.
  • Automate deployments and improve release processes.
  • Manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor performance, logs, and system uptime; implement alerting.
  • Optimize MongoDB and MySQL databases for scaling.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth deployments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean).
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Knowledge of and Python deployments.
  • Strong understanding of MongoDB and MySQL in production environments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing high-traffic systems.
  • Knowledge of Redis and caching strategies.
  • Prior startup/SaaS experience.
