Factory Incharge

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production in the furniture workshop/factory.
• Supervise carpenters and helpers; allocate work and monitor output.
• Ensure quality control in cutting, assembling, finishing, and packing.
• Manage purchase of raw materials (wood, plywood, hardware, polish, etc.).
• Maintain vendor relations and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Handle basic accounting:
• Record purchases, expenses, stock usage
• Maintain petty cash
• Support billing/stock entries
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished products.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
• Keep the factory clean, organised, and compliant with safety practices.
• Report daily/weekly production, purchase, and stock updates to management.

Candidate Profile (Preferred):

• Candidate from Aluva / Edayar / nearby places.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing / carpentry workshop preferred.
• Knowledge of supervision + accounting + purchase (mandatory).
• Ability to manage workers and maintain discipline.
• Good communication, honesty, and responsibility.
• Familiarity with local hardware/wood suppliers is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
