Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium Automation using Core Java, along with Cucumber, TestNG, and Page Object Model (POM). Strong manual testing knowledge across all testing phases is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manual Testing Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements for testability
  • Design, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing
  • Execute exploratory and ad-hoc testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects and work closely with development teams for resolution
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Ensure quality deliverables within defined timelines

Automation Testing Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Core Java
  • Implementautomation frameworks using Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, and Page Object Model (POM)
  • Create and maintain feature files, step definitions, and test runners
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results
  • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify regression test cases suitable for automation
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Manual Testing (all testing types)
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Proficiency in Core Java
  • Experience with Cucumber (BDD Framework)
  • Strong knowledge of TestNG
  • Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM)
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools

Optional / Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with JMeter for performance testing
  • Experience with REST Assured for API automation
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools
  • Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
