Role Overview: You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of software products through meticulous testing and evaluation. You will be responsible for identifying bugs, documenting test cases, and verifying fixes, ensuring our products meet the strictest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans to identify software problems and their causes.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts to cover functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure comprehensive coverage of testing scenarios.
  • Implement testing procedures and coordinate testing sessions across various phases of development.
  • Utilize both manual and automated testing tools to streamline and enhance testing efficiency.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain documentation of test results, and provide detailed reports to improve product quality.
  • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
  • Assist in the development of standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Explore and recommend new testing tools and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
  • Familiarity with both white box and black box testing.
  • Proficient in manual and automated testing tools.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Tooling Requirements:

  • Test Management: Jira, TestRail, Qase or similar tools.
  • Automation Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, etc.
  • Scripting Languages: Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Version Control: Git, SVN.
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or similar.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
