The OpportunityAt Adobe, we offer an outstanding opportunity to work on brand new technology that crafts the digital experiences of millions. As a Senior SRE Engineer, you will have a crucial role on our Bucharest team, maintaining and developing core services essential for messaging between Adobe services. Why is it cool to work in Adobe Experience Platform? Because we bring operational excellence over petabytes of data every day.
What you'll Do- Manage and improve our core messaging service with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software improvements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
- Complete SRE and DevOps tasks to ensure the flawless operation and maintenance of our systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement standard methodologies in software engineering.
- Manage industry known technologies like Kafka together with brand-new tech to compete at the highest level of market complexity and scale.
- Good coding skills. Java is a plus (5 year min)
- Proven experience with SRE/DevOps practices
- Experience with Unix/Linux system administration and programming
- Experience with Kubernetes and Kafka is a plus
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based systems and internet-related tools.
