About Medhavi Skills University
Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP Recognized by the UGC and established in 2021, MSU collaborates with industries and Skill Development Institutes to offer work-integrated courses, embedding on-the-job internships and training within the curriculum. MSU is a recognized Awarding Body under the National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) and is empanelled with the Directorate General of Training (DGT). About MSU WISE: Medhavi Skills University (MSU) has launched the WISE initiative to enhance employability and support job creation by equipping individuals with industry-relevant theoretical knowledge and onthe-job training. This initiative fosters collaborative efforts between MSU and various industries, creating a mutually beneficial relationship. Through the concept of "Industry as Campus," students gain a competitive edge by acquiring practical skills directly from industry experts. Role Overview: The Admin – Operations will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative and operational functioning of the University. The role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing vendor interactions, handling reporting, and supporting operational excellence across departments. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, proficiency in Excel, a mature personality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and client interactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
•
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for administrative and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement, service delivery, and issue resolution. Maintain and track operational data, records, and reports using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Support multiple stakeholder interactions with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to University's administrative policies, compliance, and quality standards.
- Assist in scheduling, documentation, and communication for various administrative activities.
- Prepare periodic reports and dashboards for the management team.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide timely resolutions in coordination with concerned departments.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
•
- Graduate in Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred but not mandatory).
- 4+ years of experience in administration/operations in an educational institution or corporate environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and data management.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines.
- Mature, detail-oriented, and solution-driven personality
