Jr. Accountant

A Junior Accountant is primarily responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, with additional attention to industry-specific inventory and documentation practices.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and bookkeeping for the showroom.
• Prepare, update, and maintain financial statements (income, balance sheets).
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and monitor payments
• Reconcile bank statements, review data accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and help with inventory management, including tracking jewellery stock and raw materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers for billing and payments.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and showroom standards.
• Provide financial insights to management as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common office tools.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience is common for junior roles in showrooms.
• Experience in the jewellery or retail sector is an advantage, though not mandatory.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
