About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SAP BPC Functional Consultant to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, support, and global rollout of our financial systems, with a primary focus on SAP BPC (Consolidation) and secondary support for Medius P2P. This role requires a strong blend of functional expertise, project management skills, and a control-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core System Management & Support (SAP BPC & Medius P2P)

  • Resolve Incidents logged in the finance systems helpdesk, providing timely issue resolution for SAP BPC and Medius P2P.
  • System Administration, including:
  • Facilitating user provisioning and system access in both BPC (and Citrix, where applicable) and Medius P2P.
  • Maintaining the software license tracker for both systems.
  • Managing master data setup in BPC, including financial dimensions and creation/maintenance of main accounts.
  • Performing transports from Development (DEV) to Production (PROD) environments in BPC.
  • Setting up and updating the approval routing table in Medius P2P.
  • Procurement Support: Raising Finance System's team purchase requisitions, including receipting, within Medius P2P.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintaining current BPC documentation and user guides, and providing training to new and existing users.

2. Global Implementation & Project Rollout

  • Lead the global rollout of our finance systems (primarily BPC) to subsidiary companies according to the agreed implementation plan.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle for rollouts, which includes:
  • Scoping and business requirement analysis.
  • Configuration and system setup.
  • Developing and conducting user training.
  • Managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data migration.
  • Providing Go-Live support.
  • Act as the primary interface by leading steering committees and managing key stakeholders across subsidiaries and the central Group team.

3. Compliance & Control

  • Audit Management: Prepare for and manage the BPC half-yearly audit, ensuring all relevant controls are maintained and documented.
  • Support the Finance team to ensure the consolidation system is current with all required financial data for accurate reporting.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in a similar Financial Systems or SAP Functional role.
  • Control Expertise: Proven ability to create, maintain, and enforce robust internal controls within centralized finance operations.
  • Process Improvement: A passion for automation and driving the creation of efficient, streamlined processes.
  • Mindset: Strong attention to detail, a focus on meeting deadlines, and a control-oriented mindset.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management and training.

Preferred

  • SAP BPC (Consolidation) or similar financial reporting/EPM tool experience.
  • Medius P2P or similar Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solution experience.
