Caretaker

The Caretaker will be responsible for the overall upkeep, maintenance, and smooth functioning of the building and premises. This role requires a responsible, disciplined, and hands-on individual with basic technical knowledge of electrical and plumbing work. The caretaker will also coordinate with vendors and service staff to ensure that all facilities are in proper working condition at all times.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the daily upkeep and maintenance of the building and surrounding areas.

· Perform basic repair and maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, fittings, etc.).

· Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and other service providers for major repairs.

· Supervise and assist housekeeping and security staff as required.

· Ensure timely maintenance of water tanks, lighting, electrical systems, and safety equipment.

· Monitor entry/exit of vendors and assist with material deliveries.

· Maintain cleanliness and order in common areas, including parking, garden, and terrace.

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or management.

· Report any safety hazards, damages, or irregularities immediately.

· Support the management in daily operational needs.

Skills & Qualities:

· Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and general repair work.

· Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance tasks.

· Trustworthy, polite, and responsible in conduct.

· Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Must be non-alcoholic, well-mannered, and decent in behavior.

Other Requirements:

· Own bike/scooty preferred for local errands and maintenance-related tasks.
