Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Juniper and/or Palo Alto firewall administration. This role focuses on daily firewall management, configuration, and troubleshooting within a complex, enterprise-scale infrastructure.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Firewall Administrator working specifically with Juniper and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Minimum certification: Security+ (Sec+) or Network+ (Net+).
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, Juniper, or Palo Alto Networks certifications.
  • Strong background in firewall design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and security principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and administer Juniper and/or Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Perform daily firewall maintenance, including rule updates, upgrades, and hardware coordination.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and manage Service Central tickets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain secure and efficient network operations.
  • Participate in rotational on-call support (one week every 12 weeks).
  • Engage in occasional team meetings or training sessions as required.
