Graphic Designer + Video Editor (Remote)
 at 
Sochh Marketing
 

If you live for clean layouts, punchy carousels, scroll-stopping reels, and you actually 
study trends
 (not just follow them), we want you. Your work will directly 
elevate brand presence
 across hospitality, lifestyle, education, finance & retail brands.

You'll:
 design carousels, reels, thumbnails, ad creatives, stories; edit short-form videos; research what's working 
now
 and turn insights into creative that performs.

Must-haves:
 strong portfolio, Adobe CC/Premiere/After Effects or CapCut, Figma, motion basics, typography sense, understanding of social formats (9:16, 1:1).

What You'll Do:

  • Design 
    social-first creatives
    : carousels, static posts, stories, ad creatives, banners, thumbnails, landing graphics.
  • Edit 
    short-form video
     (Reels/Shorts): cutting, pacing, text animations, memes, transitions, sound selection.
  • Build 
    brand systems
    : visual language, layouts, grids, typography, color usage, templates for scale.
  • Track trends
     and translate insights into fresh creative ideas (hooks, frames, formats, audios).
  • Create 
    YouTube thumbnails
     and cover art that convert.
  • Collaborate on 
    campaigns
     (concept → storyboard → design → publish) with clear, fast iterations.
  • Prepare files correctly for platforms (9:16 / 1:1 / 16:9), compress/export to spec, maintain tidy source files.
  • Report what's working using simple 
    creative performance notes
     (saves, shares, watch time, CTR).

Must Have:

  • A 
    compelling portfolio
     of social creatives + at least 3 edited reels/shorts.
  • Design foundations
    : typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, grid systems.
  • Video skills
    : Premiere Pro or CapCut (After Effects basics a plus).
  • Design tools
    : Photoshop, Illustrator; Figma for layouts and components.
  • Platform fluency
    : Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube; understands hooks, retention, and CTA thinking.
  • Speed with quality
    : you can ship fast without losing polish.
  • Curiosity for trends
    : you research patterns, not just aesthetics.

Good to Have:

  • Motion graphics in AE (kinetic type, simple transitions).
  • Copy sense for micro-copy, hooks & captions (English/Hinglish comfort).
  • Basic color grading & audio balancing.
  • Experience with hospitality/lifestyle/education/retail brands.
