We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with 5+ years of experience having expertise in migrating legacy VB or C# projects into the latest .NET frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both VB.NET and C# development, along with extensive experience in upgrading and modernizing existing applications.

This role offers an opportunity to lead critical migration projects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the migration of legacy VB or C# applications to the latest .NET frameworks.

  • Assess existing codebases, identify areas for improvement, and refactor code as necessary.

  • Develop migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.

  • Implement best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and security.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure smooth migration and functionality.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

  • Document migration processes, technical specifications, and post-migration support plans.

**Requirements:**

  • Extensive experience in VB.NET and C# development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

  • Proven track record of successfully migrating legacy applications to newer versions of the .NET framework.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL databases, including database design and optimization.

  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like ASP.NET MVC.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

-Experience in software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
