Technician / Lab Assistant – Quality Control (Analyst)

Department: Quality Control / Microbiology

Role Purpose

The Technician / Lab Assistant – Quality Control will support microbiological and analytical quality control activities in a WHO-compliant vaccine manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to GLP, cGMP, and regulatory standards.

This position provides excellent exposure to pharmaceutical QC systems and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sampling of raw materials, in-process samples, and water samples (PW/WFI) under supervision
  • Support sample labelling, handling, and transfer to the QC laboratory
  • Perform washing, drying, and sterilization of laboratory glassware and equipment
  • Maintain archival of analytical data, sampling records, and test documentation
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and cGMP standards in all activities
  • Participate in training programs related to quality systems, laboratory safety, and regulatory compliance

Qualification & Eligibility

Education:

  • B.Sc. – Microbiology / Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks with no active arrears
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and observation skills
  • Willingness to work in shift-based laboratory environments
