Job Description – English Teacher (Primary & Secondary Section)

Position: English Teacher

Section: Primary & Secondary (ICSE)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English Language and Literature as per ICSE curriculum.
  • Deliver structured lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Prepare and implement daily/weekly lesson plans.
  • Conduct assessments, class tests, unit tests, and maintain student progress records.
  • Use interactive and innovative teaching techniques to improve language fluency.
  • Provide individual attention and academic support to students as needed.
  • Encourage reading habits, creative writing, and confident communication.
  • Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Participate in school events, competitions, and English-related activities.

Mandatory Skill – Rules of Grammar:

  • Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar rules, including:
  • Parts of speech
  • Tenses and sentence structure
  • Subject–verb agreement
  • Active and passive voice
  • Direct and indirect speech
  • Punctuation rules
  • Common errors and corrections
  • Should be able to teach grammar in a clear, structured, and child-friendly manner for both primary and secondary students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in English or related field.
  • B.Ed. mandatory for Secondary section.
  • Strong command over spoken and written English.
  • Experience in ICSE curriculum is preferred.
  • Ability to engage students with creative teaching strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹60,000.00 per month
