Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machine Head to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to ensure precision machining of components (brass, copper, aluminum, etc.) used in automobile and hardware products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write efficient CNC programs for machines such as VMC, Milling, and Turning.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering blueprints.
  • Select proper tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies for optimum machining.
  • Simulate and test programs for accuracy using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM).
  • Work closely with CNC operators to ensure correct program execution.
  • Optimize tool paths to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
  • Maintain documentation of program revisions and process sheets.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, or machining quality.
  • Adhere to ISO/TS standards and follow all safety protocols.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, etc.)
  • Knowledge of G-code / M-code programming
  • Good understanding of material behavior: brass, copper, steel, aluminum
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with production teams

Qualification:

  • Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production or relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC programming in a manufacturing setup
