  • Performing internal quality control procedures and daily QC checks. Maintain Quality documentation as per lab policies and procedures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments/equipment as per the defined program in the laboratory
  • Provide Training to Medical Technologist/Medical lab technicians for working on automated instruments and inhouse standard operating procedures. Maintenance of laboratory raw data and computer database
  • Perform and maintain appropriate quality documentation for Proficiency testing, data entry in EQAS software and Proficiency testing report review. Quality Indicator compilation and monitoring.
  • Perform RCA-resolution of complaints and issues and documentation.
  • Monitoring and comply with the biomedical Waste management procedures
  • Critical value reporting & read back confirmation
  • Daily testing of samples, Report entry, verification and interpretation. Data entry into the dash boards
  • Storage and discarding samples according to retention period
  • Periodically done the references range variations & review.
  • Outsource samples test Management.
  • LIS transition checks & verification Bugs. Verification checks for new test added on LIS
  • Trouble shooting of equipment problems and reagent problems.
  • Coordinate with the equipment engineer for issue resolution.
  • Follow the TAT as per the standards. Publishing monthly MIS on TAT, critical values etc.
  • Inter instrument comparisons
  • Clinical correlation of the report and communication
  • New test or kit validation and verification.
  • New reagent or kit lot verification and shipment verification
  • Reagent or kit stock maintenance, indent & issue
  • Microscopic examination
  • Patient data entry into the accession register
  • Duty roster preparation for all the other lab personnel
  • Intra lab test costing: CPRT with HO delegate
  • Ensure compliance to all accreditation guidelines, ISO 15189, NABL 112 and policies and procedures as laid down in the Quality documents pertaining to the laboratory
  • Support during new launch of Labs or relevant Setups.
