Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Manager – Accounts & Finance
to lead our accounting and finance function. The role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, implementing strong internal controls, driving system improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with experience in public listed companies and will lead a high-performing finance team to ensure the organization's financial integrity and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closure of accounts and MIS reporting to various stakeholders.
  • Oversee the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, monitor variances from budgets, and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal reporting standards.
  • Monitor company financial health and implement systems for effective financial review.

2. Internal Controls and System Development

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and procedures to safeguard financial information.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, auditing requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and system automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

3. External Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors.
  • Gather, review, and validate financial data for audits.
  • Implement audit recommendations and resolve discrepancies independently.
  • Respond to ad hoc financial data queries and requirements from stakeholders.

4. Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and nurture a collaborative, high-performance finance team.
  • Mentor team members and support their professional growth.
  • Partner with business leaders to align financial goals with organizational strategy.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience
    in a
    public listed company
    .
  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
    qualified in 1st attempt
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    statutory requirements, accounting standards, and laws
    .
  • Experience in SAP is a must.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
