Job Title: Site Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our Site Operations department. The successful candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in site engineering and will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects. The Site Engineer will work closely with the project team to ensure that all construction activities are carried out efficiently and in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify any issues, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

  2. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

  3. Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

  4. Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines and cost targets.

  5. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project standards.

  6. Collaborate with the project team to resolve any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.

  7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.

  8. Provide technical support and guidance to site staff, including engineers, technicians, and laborers.

  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in construction technology, and recommend innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  2. 3-4 years of experience in site engineering or a similar role.

  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

  4. Proficient in using construction software and tools, such as AutoCAD and project management software.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  9. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
