Role Description

As a Junior Gameplay Programmer, you will assist in implementing gameplay systems and mechanics in Unreal Engine. You will work closely with senior programmers, designers, and artists, contributing to the development of polished single-player experiences while gaining hands-on experience in AAA-quality game development.

Responsibilities

  • Implement gameplay features and mechanics using Unreal Engine (C++ and Blueprints).
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and technical leads to integrate gameplay elements.
  • Assist in debugging and optimizing code for smooth performance.
  • Support prototyping and testing of new gameplay ideas.
  • Learn best practices in game development and contribute to team projects.

Qualifications

  • 6 months – 1 year of experience (internships, personal projects, or small professional experience).
  • Basic knowledge of Unreal Engine (C++ and Blueprints).
  • Understanding of gameplay systems, physics, and interactive mechanics.
  • Problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
