JOB DESCRIPTION:
Quality Assurance and Control:
- Develop and implement site-specific quality control procedures in line with project requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations from project specifications, and implement corrective actions.
- Review and verify that construction materials and workmanship meet the required standards and specifications.
Inspection and Testing:
- Perform inspections and testing of materials and workmanship as per project requirements and standards.
- Ensure that all quality control tests are conducted as per the testing plan and that results are documented and communicated.
- Coordinate with external testing agencies and ensure that all required testing and certification are completed.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities.
- Prepare and submit quality reports as required.
- Document and report any quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with local, national, and international quality standards and regulations.
- Keep updated with industry best practices and changes in quality standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans and procedures.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related issues and concerns.
- Assist in training site personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving quality control processes and practices.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from past projects to enhance quality assurance procedures.
