We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer (Turning – Fanuc) who can also supervise production activities. The candidate will be responsible for creating and optimising CNC turning programs, handling first-piece setup, troubleshooting machining issues, and ensuring smooth production flow on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & edit CNC turning programs (Fanuc).
  • Optimise cycle time, tool selection, and machining parameters.
  • Supervise operators and manage daily production targets.
  • Allocate manpower, monitor machine utilization, and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure quality checks, first-off approvals, and 5S on the shop floor.
  • Coordinate with planning, QC, and maintenance teams.
  • Prepare basic production reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC Turning (Fanuc) and production supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of machining, tooling, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle a team and manage shift operations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of CNC turning programming (Fanuc).
  • Understanding of tooling, inserts, offsets, and cycle time calculation.
  • Experience handling a team of operators/technicians.
  • Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards.
  • Ability to plan production and supervise shift activities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and production reporting.

Education

  • Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing.
  • ITI Machinist/Turner with relevant CNC programming and supervisory experience.
