Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Java Architect to lead the design and development of large-scale, web-based MMIS applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to architect robust, secure, and scalable solutions aligned with healthcare and government standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the end-to-end architecture of MMIS applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and SQL.
  • Lead technical strategy, solution design, and architecture governance across multiple modules and teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive adoption of microservices, cloud-native architectures, and DevOps practices.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance audits, and security assessments.
  • Mentor senior developers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in a senior architectural role.

  • Proven expertise in:

  • Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate

  • Angular (v8+)

  • SQL (Oracle, SQL Server)

  • Hands-on experience in MMIS or similar large-scale healthcare/government systems.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and security frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
