Job Title: Software Development Engineer II (Java Backend)

Experience: 3+ years

Location : Gurgaon (5 Days work from Office)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) with strong experience in Java backend development and Spring Boot to join our dynamic engineering team. As an SDE II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs, contributing to high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, DevOps, QA, and UI/UX to define and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentor junior developers.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards during development.
  • Take ownership of features from design to production deployment.

Skills Required:

  • Strong programming skills in Java (8 or above).
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
  • Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • Understanding of design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is an advantage.

Education:

B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
