Vacancy for Physiotherapist (Full Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Evaluation: a. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions. b. Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.

  2. Therapeutic Interventions: a. Implement and oversee therapeutic exercises and activities in an aquatic environment. b. Utilize different therapy techniques to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. c. Integrate land-based physiotherapy interventions as needed to complement aquatic therapy.

  3. Patient Education and Support: a. Educate patients and their families about the benefits and goals of aquatic therapy b. Provide guidance on home exercise programs and ongoing self-management strategies.

  4. Collaboration and Communication: a. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Senior Doctors, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. b. Participate in inter-departmental meetings and contribute to the development of integrated care plans for the patients

  5. Documentation and Reporting: a. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. b. Prepare reports and communicate patient progress to the Senior Doctors and the Research team where applicable.

  6. Professional Development: a. Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy and aquatic therapy through continuing education and professional development. b. Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives related to neurorehabilitation and aquatic therapy.

Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.

  1. Licensure: Current licensure as a Physiotherapist in India

  2. Certification: Specialized training or certification in aquatic therapy is highly desirable.

Skills: 1. Strong clinical skills in neurorehabilitation and aquatic therapy. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. 4. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Working Conditions: 1. Regular interaction with patients who have varying levels of physical and cognitive impairments. 2. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting patients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
