Job Title: Factory Head / Production Head – Diamond Jewellery Manufacturing
Location: Surat
Reports To: Director – Operations / Founder & CEO
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Factory Head / Production Head to lead our diamond jewellery manufacturing and export operations, catering to premium markets across USA, UK, Dubai, Canada, and Australia. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire production cycle, ensuring superior quality, timely delivery, and process excellence in alignment with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations: Casting, Setting, Polishing, Finishing, and Quality Control.
- Plan and monitor daily production to achieve delivery targets and export schedules.
- Ensure compliance with global quality and hallmarking standards.
- Drive productivity, cost optimization, and continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate with design, CAD, procurement, and export teams for smooth workflow.
- Lead and motivate a large team of skilled artisans and supervisors.
- Uphold safety, ethical sourcing, and compliance with RJC/Kimberley guidelines.
Requirements:
- 12–20 years of experience in diamond jewellery manufacturing; minimum 5 years in a plant leadership role.
- Strong understanding of export operations and international quality standards.
- Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM, Casting, and modern jewellery production technologies.
- Proven leadership, planning, and people management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Jewellery Manufacturing (MBA preferred).
